Trying to put in date but comes up with ######
As mentioned if I try to put in the date all I get is ##### has been working
up until this month (May) why? how do I fix? Went to format cell and the settings are the same as the settings for the cells in which the date has worked correctly. |

One possibility: If the cell is too narrow to show the date as formatted, it will display #####. May is the "shortest" month so far this year :-) --ron |
How embarrassing, yep worked. Didn't think of it cause each month uses 3
letters...thought May would be the same size. Cheers again. If you're using a format that has all the months showing as their three letter abbreviation, then May would NOT be the shortest. But, so long as adjusting column width fixed the problem, you're home free! --ron |
