"Format" Toolbar

Somehow I've broken my format tool bar -- the one where you can click
buttons to force a cell to formats for "$", "%", ",", etc. Everything
works normally except the "%" button. For some spread sheets "%" still
works, but in others it gives an error box "Style Percent not found".

Presumably I've touched some customization somewhere, but I can't find it.

Does this sound familiar?

Thanks...

Bill

Hi Bill,

The message suggests that the Percent Style has been deleted in some
workbooks.

For the problem workbooks, you can use the Format | Style menu to recreate a
Percent style. Alternatvely, use the Format | Style | Merge menu to copy the
style from another workbook.

Norman

Go to ToolsCustomizeToolbars, select Format (not uncheck it)< and click
Reset.

-----------------------

Recreating the Percent style wouldn't work since it wouldn't apparently
allow me to Add a new style -- but then that's probably my
misunderstanding of the process at work.

Your suggestion to Merge from another workbook worked nicely though.

Thanks for your help Norman.

Somehow that didn't seem to make a difference. My problem was resolved
though by Mergeing styles from another workbook.

Thanks for your help Bob.
