can this be done?
I have a spreadsheet that has a number of functions/formulas setup in it.
There are four cells that I enter numbers in and everything updates/calculates accordingly. Is there a way to have excel put in different numbers and spit out the best result? For example, put in 1 for cell A2, then 2, then 3, and so on. |
Search for "Goal Seek" and "Solver"in XL Help.

Hi
Have a look at Tools|Goal Seek. Using this you can set up a calculation to achieve a desired result by adjusting one of the figures in that calculation. Andy. "Jambruins" wrote in message ...
