One Click = Multiple Cells in Excel 2007

One click in Excel 2007 selects multiple cells below the click. Any
suggestions on this glich?

It can't be a mouse problem because unplugging my mouse doesn't change
the clicking phenomena. Some bugs we may just have to live with. I've
had it happen recently when switching between Word 2007 and Excel
2007.

Thanks

If F8 doesn't do the trick try setting your Zoom level up or down a
point or two.
