help with a simple macro

Hi,

I often have to set up auto filter on the first line, freeze that pane and
auto width the columns.

It happens so often that I recorded a macro to do it for me.

My problem is that I use so many different spreadsheets and I can never find
the macro again..

Can someone please tell me how to save the macro so that it is available
anytime that I open excel (2003)

Thanks in advance

If you save the macro in 'PERSONAL.XLS' it will always be available
when Excel is running. (Does NOT apply to automated instances of Excel)

The macro recorder dialog asks you where you want to put the macro.
PERSONAL.XLS is a good place to store all macros you reuse often.

Save it to your Personal.xls file. See help for more on that subject.

Or put the macro in a module in a new workbook then save that workbook
as an Add-in............my preference.

Install through ToolsAdd-ins and leave it loaded.
