Active Cell? = Iteration / Maximum Change Issue

Greetings!

I'm new to this forum, but not to Excel. I've run into a problem that has
me stumped. I'm hoping someone here knows a trick they might share.

I've got a really large workbook (16meg) with many iterative calculations.
Most all of these calculations settle out or seem to twiddle
back and fourth in the hundredths or thousandths places.

I'd like to set "Maximum Change" to 1 and have 25 or so iterations.

However, there seems to be some calculation somewhere that is
flopping around in the range of 50 and makes my iterations keep
going infinitely unless I set "Maximum Change" to 50 or so. If I can
find this calculation, I'm sure I can settle it down.

This workbook is huge and I can't for the life of me find the flipping
flopper. Does anyone have a technique for finding the cells that are
changing? I'm watching all sorts of cells, but I can't find the changers.

I know it sounds odd, but this is making me nuts...

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or assistance or ideas.
