stop my speadsheet from creating an automatic backup copy
I have a spreadsheet I work with on a daily basis. Every morning I access
it, there is a backup copy of this spreadsheet in my folder where I keep this spreadsheet. I want this to stop. thanks! Linda G. |
If the name of the workbook has a .xlk extension, then try this:
File|SaveAs|Click on Tools|General Options|Uncheck "always create backup" (This is the path for xl2002+. For xl2k, I think it was just "options"--not "general Options". lggallo wrote: I have a spreadsheet I work with on a daily basis.
