i want to see NA in all cells where data is empty in pivot table. Is possible without vba?

which version of excel you are using.

i think you can try pivot table option, for empty value show NA

yes, this is possible in both excel 2003 and excel 2007 without vba. please revert back if i didnot understand the issue properly

EXCEL 2007

Right click somewhere inside the Pivot Table and click on PivotTable Options
.. . .

PivotTable Options window should launch

Layout & Format tab / in here there is a box called:-

For empty cells show:

Place NA in the above cell.

I think that the above should give you what you want.
