sum cells based upon color of cell
 

I have a worksheet with color coded cells and numerical data in each cell.
I'd like to tally the contents of the various colors. Any suggestions?

Excel default functions cannot count or sum by color format.

If cells are shaded due to Conditional Formatting you could possibly sum by
those conditions.
