"Do you want to update" msg
I have a workbook that asks me this when I open it. I cannot find the link
that is pointing to another workbook. Does anyone know an easy way to find this? Thanks so much. |

I'd use Bill Manville's FindLink program:

do a find. links are usually formulas that have brackets something like =[MyBook1.xls]Sheet1!$A$1 so in the find box search for either a [ or ]. in the within box, check workbook in the look in box, check formulas click find all. also you might try.... 03 or later...on the menu bareditlinks. you cant' delete the link and i don't think it displays but you can choose to show the message or not. click startup prompt. 07. data tabedit links.
