Keyboard shortcut to select entire column
 

I am using Excel 2007. I can select entire row by using Shift+Spacebar.
However, if I press Ctrl+Spacebar to select entire column, nothing happens.
Has the keyboard shortcut changed in Excel 2007?

to select column of active cell - Ctrl + spacebar
to select row of the active cell - Shift + spacebar
Ctrl + Shift + Spacebar selects the entire sheet with active cell activated.

CTRL+SPACEBAR selects an entire column in a worksheet.

hi,

looks like your control keys are hanged on your laptop/PC.

try this

press alt+ctrl+fn.
It will be fixed.

Thanks to all for responses.
I found out that the reason Ctrl+Space did not work for me was because this
combination was set to toggle keyboard layout from English to Chinese. I
removed this setting and Ctrl+Space now works to select entire column in
Excel.
