Embedded web graphics not displaying
 

we have received a xls document that is causing some peculiar problems. First
is theres 961 cells with photos embedded in them from the web. Theres a
handful of people that can open it and the pictures display. and others who
cannot. the images come through as red x's. the ones who cannot view them
cannot open internet explorer while the file is open. once they close the
excel file internet explorer pops up right away. Also those where the images
are not displaying cannot get into the trusted center setting it hangs up.
All of the machine are running 2007 and have the updates from windows update.
any ideas?
