Then you can open the workbook without the macro warning.

Roy

If every time you start Excel on one particular computer you get the macro
warning about "Excel 4.0" macros you do not need SelfCert to sign anything

You have some add-in or a stray workbook opening along with Excel.

Go to ToolsAdd-ins and uncheck all add-ins.

Close and re-start Excel.

If no warnings, re-check add-ins one at a time until you find the offender.

If you do get the warning, look in your XLSTART folder and remove anything
in there.

Also remove any path you may have in ToolsOptionsGeneral"At Start up,
open all file in"

SelfCert is used for signing only those workbooks in which you have
deliberately added VBA code.

To create a digital certificate if you wanted one go to
StartRunProgramsMS OfficeMS OfficeTools

I looked it there is nothing that was being checked ( that I can
uncheck)

Close and re-start Excel.

I remove one file from XLSTART and it did not change anything.

I did not see anything in that slot

I can’t run these in that PC.

I don't understand why that PC is peculiar..is there a way to correct
those security warning errors that is becoming pesky everytime I open
an excel file in that particular computer?

Does this occur when you open any file in Excel or just one particular file?

If you start Excel with no file open does it occur?

StartRun excel.exe

I see single quotes around the address.

How did they get there?

Remove them.

Others are having no problems with my email.
