I am using Excel 2003

I know when I want a new line in a cell I press (ALTand Enter). Is there
any way to make the line space the same as the height of a row; when I am
doing it the line after (ALT and Enter) is at least double space.

Thanks in advance

Verify that the format of the cell is not distributed vertically.

Format Cell, Alignment, Vertical.
