Folder with largest number
Hello
Is it possible for Excel to filter through a set of folders/directories and determine which one has the largest number and then open it? thanks for any insight |
Folder with largest number
Do you mean the largest number of files in the folder, or the file
with a (numeric) filename which is the largest value, or something else? Pete On Mar 11, 4:03*pm, SteveZmyname wrote: Hello Is it possible for Excel to filter through a set of folders/directories and determine which one has the largest number and then open it? thanks for any insight |

Hello Pete
"the file with a (numeric) filename which is the largest value." Yes, because the filenames are dates and I need to find the most recent to work with. thanks Steve "Pete_UK" wrote: Do you mean the largest number of files in the folder, or the file with a (numeric) filename which is the largest value, or something else?
