I know many people have complained about this and that it is personal
preference, but it looks funny when you have a small amount of information in 1 cell and more in another. I figure there must be a reason since people have been complaining about it for years. I still want to know why Microsoft has it set this way. Thanks. "FSt1" wrote: hi that is just the way microsoft set it up. A piece of tablet paper has lines running across it. When you write
something on a line do you write at the top, middle or bottom of the line? Don't you think that it makes sense to do the same thing in a spreadsheet which is just like a sheet a tablet paper? -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "FSt1" wrote in message ... ask them https://support.microsoft.com/contac...;1208&ws=mscom regards FSt1 "Laya" wrote: I know many people have complained about this and that it is personal preference, but it looks funny when you have a small amount of information in 1 cell and more in another.
