Hey guys pls help me now.
I got a worksheet of raw data. Inside this worksheet, I need to find and count the number of cells containing the word " People" and this figure will automatically appear in another worksheet in a cell. Is this possible. Please advice -- help me |

Assume your sum is in a10 on w/sheet "sheet1"

okay. thanks for your response. Sorry for not being clear enough. The raw
data under the row AG contains "People-1,People-2...." in each cell. and also under row D, it contains the dates created. So i need to filter out the numbers of cells with the word "People" and at the same time, according to their month in a new worksheet. If you want contains "People", use:
=COUNTIF(A1:A9,"*people*") For the last part, you'll need to provide more detail on "according to their month in a new worksheet". However, I suspect your best bet is a Pivot Table.
