if you saved it, it should be in the mru list? what version of excel are you
using?

one other question, how did you open it, outlook email? if that's the case,
search will never find it. it is probably he

C:\Users\Your user name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.Outlook\some obscure number\

and in microsoft's infinite wisdom, you may never even be able to navigate
there just because they thought it was a good idea. but that's another
story.
