Hi,

Is it possible to give a column a name, instead of A, B, C etc?

Thanks a lot in advance.

I'm afraid not. the best you can do is select the column and name it as a
named range and then put that nam in (say) row 1.

When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that
introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the
question.

If you mean the column header A,B,C you cannot rename it.. except that you
choose to have 1,2,3 etc;.....

Below links might help in a different way...

On named ranges

On data tables
