ExcelBanter - insert objects in .xlsx fails with message "cannot insert object"

insert objects in .xlsx fails with message "cannot insert object"

When inserting objects into an excel .xlsx spreadsheet I sometime receive an
error message reading "cannot insert object" with no other alternaive than to
click OK. I have tried inserting .docx and .xlsx files and in both cases I
get the error, there appears no consistency. Why am I getting this error and
how can it be avoided?
