Problems with the Colour Palette in Execel 2003
Hi,
I am using conditional formatting to change fill colours when a condition is met, just simply red, green and white. I create a workbook and everything seems fine until I re-open the workbook, at that time my colours change, red becomes baby blue and green becomes black, etc. Or sometimes the red turns to brown and the green to a sea green. There are othe colour problems, but this is the major source of my frustration. Can anyone help with this? Thanks Torkattack |

Could you tell if the file has been opened in Excel 2007 (or 2010)? I have
had similar problems that was caused by a user that has opened the Excel 2003 file in Excel 2007. Excel 2007 handles more colours, and when I opened the file in 2003, the colours weren't recognized, since the colours didn't exist in Excel 2003. |
Problems with the Colour Palette in Execel 2003
Hi Kenneth,
I don't know for sure, but I don't think so. I work for a large national corporation and we all have the same s/w. We all have Office 2003 professional. I've had our IT people try numerous times to fix this but it keeps happening time and time again. I can certianly e-mail a file to show someone if they can help with this.
