How do I set up an automatic invoice number in Excel 2007
I have just upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2007. In Excel 2000 I was
able to insert a unique invoice number automatically by clicking "add number" on the invoice toolbar. Can a similar action be taken in Excel 2007 and, if so, how do I set it up? Thnaks for any help, Ian |

Perhaps you need to include an equivalent add-in to what you added to Office
2000? There isn't an "invoice toolbar" in native Excel. It sounds as if using the same add-in isn't trivial: http://www.officekb.com/Uwe/Forum.as...voice-Template -- David Biddulph IDJ&A wrote: I have just upgraded from Office 2000 to Office 2007. I can confirm that the Template Utilities Add-in does work with the
INVOICE.XLT from Excel 2000 if that is the Template you were/are using. You need a copy of TMPLTNUM.XLA which was not provided with versions newer than 2000 If you email me I can send you an unpassworded copy of the Add-in. gorddibbATshawDOTca change the obvious.
