KB Article #931399, Excel 2007 Continues to Run
 

I am experiencing the problem identified in KB931399, "Excel 2007 continues
to run after you use a COM add-in and then try to exit Excel 2007". The
problem occurs only on a Windows 7 machine; the same Excel 2007 files and VBA
macro code run correctly on Windows XP and Vista machines. Is there a
workaround to this problem? Does Microsoft plan to release a hotfix to
address this problem?
