Can someone please advise me of a formula that would automatically update the
number of weeks from a list of dates to the current date? If the dates are in column A, put this in B1 and copy down: =(TODAY()-A1)/7 This should put the "number of weeks" next to each date in the original list. Column B can be formatted as a number with decimals if that's the way you want to report fractions of a week. Otherwise, you could wrap ROUND() or INT() or ROUNDUP() around the formula, depending on the need. |

=(DATEDIF(B2,NOW(),"d"))/7
This will do the same thing: =(TODAY()-B2)/7 Also, how do you want to handle decimal results? For example: B2 = 1/1/2010 Both formulas return 5.714. Is that the result you want or do you want to round that up to 6 or down to 5? -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "Jenn247" wrote in message ... Or, more simply:
=(now()-b2)/7 Today is probably a better function to use for this purpose than Now: =(today()-b2)/7 Regards, Fred "Jenn247" wrote in message ...
