Can't open '07 files in '03
 

I have created several files in Excel 2007 on a new PC using Win 7. But when
I go to open these files on my laptop (Excel 2003, XP), the file does not
open. I get a message to the effect the file is being converted, but then
nothing happens. What do I do?

You have two options:
1. In 2007, save the file in Excel 97-2003 format (it's on the Save As
menu).
2. Upgrade you 2003 version to be able to read 2007 files. You'll find the
upgrade on the Microsoft website.
