Converting minutes to tenths
I have a spreadsheet which requiers the time to be displayed as hr:mm am/pm,
I then need a subtotal (i.e. 8:00 AM to 11:45 AM) equals 3:45 (three hours and 45 minutes) but the sheet has to show the subtotal as 3.mm in other words three hours and then the minutes converted to tenths. Any suggestions. -- Thank you in Advance |
Converting minutes to tenths
Hmmm..., I assume you want to convert "time" to "Tenth" because you want to
calculate costs If my assumption is correct - you DON'T need to do so. You should multiply the result by 24 and format the cell as "Currency".
