Maybe instead of too many formulas you have too many rows to calculate at
once. Try breaking it up. I did one for a client where we named blocks and had the formulas refer to the named blocks. If desired, send your file to my address below. I will only look if: 1. You send a copy of this message on an inserted sheet 2. You give me the newsgroup and the subject line 3. You send a clear explanation of what you want 4. You send before/after examples and expected results. -- Don Guillett Microsoft MVP Excel SalesAid Software "beto" wrote in message ... I have too many array formulas, and calculating cells takes to long that even freezes excel and stopped working. What I did is, from "options", tab "calculate", changed from "calculate automatic" to "manual calculations". After that excel works fine if I calculate cell by cell, BUT I do need to calculate more than 1 cell at a time. What I want to do is select a certain number of cells and then calculate them manually, and since they are array formulas I have to use ctrl+shift+enter. Do you know how to do that? -- asdf |
