Main menu is missing

I opened up Excel 2000 today, and for no known reason the main menu is not
visible and not accessible by hotkeys (ctrl-C, etc.) I rebooted and the
problem is still there. I've tried maximizing and shrinking the window, but
it doesn't help.

If you have any toolbars up, right click on the toolbar, select customize and
goto the bottom in the toolbars section and click on the Worksheet menu bar.
You may have to click it off, redoit and click it back on.

If this doesn't work, I do not know what else to do.

It is tough from your description to understand exactly what you are seening.
I'll take a guess. Perhaps somehow you've gottnen into a situation where
you are in full screen mode. Try this. Try ALT+V. Then look and see if
"full screen mode" is activated.

It turned out that there was a corrupted Excel Toolbar file. See:

Thanks to those that tried to help! It's fixed now.
