UNABLE TO DELETE FOLDER
 

Dear

There is afolder name ANIL, but there is one more folder created in anil
with same name ANIL. im trying to delete the folder but icant, Message
Display CANNOT DELETE. ACCESS IS DENIED. MAKE SURE THE DISK IS NOT FULL OR
WRITE PROTECTED AND THAT FILE IS NOT CURRENTLY IN USE.

Even iam not using the file from that folder, unable to delete.


pls help ITS URGENT

Excel isn't the right tool for deleting a folder. Try using Windows
Explorer.

Its not working. when i see the properties of the folder which i want to
delete ,its shows FILE TYPE APPLICATION.

I'd try asking in a forum dedicated to Windows.

Be sure to include the version of Windows that you're running, too.

Windows problem, not Excel.
Try starting Windows in Safe Mode. See if you can then delete the folder.
If no joy, Google for "delete undeletable file"
