I have trying to do this, but to no avail.
I want cells to change color like:
more than 60 days before certain date - they're green
1 - 60 days - they're yellow
0 days and days after - they're red

color code
 

Format | Conditional Format | Cell Value is < A1-60 where the date to check
against is in cell A1. Define your Format.

Same for the other formats

i use excel 2007
