Ink on a Protected Sheet

I need to allow users to use the inking tool on a protected sheet. When I
protect the sheet, the Start Inking button is greyed. Any suggestions?

Ink on a Protected Sheet

So long as you are XL2002 or better when you protect teh sheet a dialog box
opens. Check Off Format Cells to allow the users to modify cell formats...
