a template for loan imortization with balloon payment
I am trying to set up a spreadsheet to calculate a loan that has a balloon
payment at the end. Is there an excel spreadsheet template that already has this. I have tried the loan imortization with extra payments but this does not fit. |
I believe you can calculate the payment (PMT function), and/or interest and
principal components payments (IPMT and PPMT), by setting the future value of the loan not to 0 (as in the usual case) but to the amount of the balloon payment due at the end.
