Timestamp

Hi- I have a computer system at work that downloads data to an Excel
spreadsheet. In the system, I have an entry with timestamp:
Sunday, January 03, 2010 10:00:01 PM

when downloaded to Excel, the timestamp is:
04/January/2010 05:00:01 UTC

Any idea why this is and what I can do to correct?
