Could anyone help me with a vba code to do sports fixtures scheduling. I have
had help with creating the fixtures but now I need help to schedule the
matches every week, so that all teams play every week, ie - with 10 teams
there are 90 matches in total, but can only play 5 games every week, with 16
teams there are 240 matches in total, but can only play 8 matches every week.
If possible, I would want all teams to alternate home and away every other
week. Thanks for your help in advance.

this is in spanish, but I guess could help as a start-option (?)
http://www.teladearana.es/seccion/excel/131-h22.html
- uses NO vba
- it is prepared only for one round (if you need a double-match tournament, just repeat the schedule ?)
- you can expand/copy-drag the ranges beyond the 20 teams/players in the sample
- home and/or away are NOT considered :-(

hth,
hector.
