How to combine two different excel files

I would like to combine two different Excel files into a new 3rd file. It's
important that each row is in sync with a reference cell. Each of the
original files have a common column reference such as cell A1=234 in both
files.
Example:
File 1 and the following row: user, fname, lname
File 2 has the following row: user, street, city, etc.

where as "user" is a number and the same in both.

Mike, this can be done but it is not straightforward.

If you really want to take this forward check out:-

Chapter 7 pages 167 to 179 inclusive.

If my comments have helped please hit Yes.
