referencing a cell in another worksheet
Hi,
I want cell F55 in worksheet "January" to display what is typed in cell B6 of worksheet "Sheet 1". These two worksheets are in the same workbook. I've typed "=Sheet1!B6" in cell F55, but instead of displaying "Jan. 4" which is what is typed into cell B6 it is showing me the forumla that i typed. What am i doing wrong/ how do i fix this? |

If the format of the cell you put the formula in is text then it will dispaly
the formula an not it's result. Change the Format of the cell from Text to General (or some other format). Now double click on the cell and press enter... -- HTH...
