URL in field of CSV file
 

My web app generates a CSV file for import into Excel. One column is
a URL that links back to the app to retrieve the original record. Right now
Excel reads this URL as plain text and the user needs to right-click and
convert to a hyperlink. Can I get Excel to recognize the URL automatically,
e.g. by formatting it in a special way? I have complete control over the
content of the CSV file but want to make it as simple as possible for the
Excel users.
