i have a sheet where i put my open and close tickets choosing them from drop
down menu , so i want to have a counter to revert back the number of each
automatically and display them on the side ?!

Counter
 

"revert" means to change back to the original choice.

Is that what you want?

Or maybe you want to have a cell that adds up the number of times you select
an opening ticket?

And another cell to add up the number of times you select a closing ticket?

Please clarify.
