combo box
hi,
i am a new Excel 2007 user. I have make a drop down data validation list. I need to change the font and make it capable of autocomplete. I have read in Contextures.com that I have to add a combo box - view - toolbars - but when i pressed view menu, i do not see toolbar in ribbon. I did add developer in the ribbon and see the "insert". May someone enlighten me or show me the step by step on how to get to the combo box. thanks -- Message posted via OfficeKB.com http://www.officekb.com/Uwe/Forums.a...excel/200912/1 |

Gord,
Thank you very much I was able to see it. Sure make it easier forme when you point it out to me. Have been looking for it for the past week . I will try to follow the instructions regarding the drop down list combo box at contextures.com. In case I have any more problem, hope you may be able to help me again. I have another problem. It is regarding conditional formatting. I was able to do it correctly once. But when I try to do it on another worksheet, I was not abble to do it. Conditional formatting by using formula -apply format on A2 if C2 value is 0. A3 if C3 is O (up to A300) I am using Excel 2007. Should I highlight the whole column or just A2, and open cond format and go to new rule, highlight use formula, type formula =A $2=0, choose format .... Thank you again.
