Blak Workbook and book.xltx
 

Hi!
I have created a book.xltx with customized settings for font type, theme etc
and I put it in XLSTART folder. When I start excel it uses my book.xltx, when
I type ctrl+N it uses my book.xltx. But when I go to Officebutton New, and
then click on Blank Workbook, it doesnt use my book, it looks quiet different
with Office theme etc. How can I do to get Excel to use my book.xltx when I
click on Blank Workbook?

You cannot get Excel to use your Template when you click on NewBlank
Workbook.

Only when you use the first two methods you mentioned or clicking on the New
File Icon which I have on my QAT
