Default Worksheet not displaying "Sum" in lover right corner

"Sum" is selected, but it is not displaying in the lower right corner of the
spreadsheet. Please advise how to bring the display back.

Right-click in that part of Excel, and check the Sum option.

Did you select at least 2 cells with numerical values ? (one, or more of them
may hold text)
