How to define a charts range based on the value of a cell
Hi is this possible?
I want to create a graph and have it automatically ajust its range based on a value of a cell. I have 2 columns of data which are calculated and are x enteries long but some of the latter enteries do not make sense and I want them to be discounted in the graph. I know the maximum range and it is easy for me to have an autometed cell which has the specific end range limit. sorry if I am explaining this badly for example I have 10 enteries but only 8 are correct I have a cell which has the value 8 stored in it. Is there a way to say plot a0 to a(value of cell) vs b0 to b(value of cell) I really appreciate the help |
How to define a charts range based on the value of a cell
If this isn't possible is there anyway I can get the same results? e.g. write
a macro to create a new chart based on the cell? also is it possible to add a button to a sheet which would run this macro so i could distribute the spreadsheet and still have it function?
