Header and Footer
I want to specify a Header and Footer for all sheets of a workbook. I specify
it in each page, but I have workbooks that have more than 20 sheets, so this takes me a lot of time. Is there a way to insert a header and a footer in all sheets of a workbook, other than manually? Thanks in advance Regards, Emece.- |

Group the worksheets, then Page Setup.
(Then remember to ungroup the sheets before you do further changes to individual worksheets.) -- David Biddulph "Emece" wrote in message ... Hi, Eduardo. Thanks for your prompt reply.
I tried following your instructions, but can't find that option. I am using Excel 2003. So if I use that option, headers and footers are automatically printed in all sheets? Thanks again "Eduardo" wrote: Hi, Go to page layout, print titles, Header & footer "Emece" wrote: I want to specify a Header and Footer for all sheets of a workbook. Header and Footer
Select first sheet then right-click on sheet tab and "Select all sheets"
Add your header/footer to the activesheet and will be done to all. NOTE: this will change ALL print settings to that of the active sheet except for settings like Print Area and Rows to Repeat at Top. Those must be done individually. Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Tue, 1 Dec 2009 08:35:01 -0800, Emece wrote: I want to specify a Header and Footer for all sheets of a workbook.
