Mail Merge
When I mail merge using excel and word 2007 the format I use for the numbers
in Excel does not carry over, eg £1.23 comes over as 1.23, and more of a problem 1.00 or £1.00 comes over as 1. Is there a simple answer? |

Mail Merge
Mailmerge does not recognise Excel formatting, just the real data.
You can convert the data in Excel to text values before merging. See David McRitchie's site for how-to's http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/mailmerg.htm Or Formatting can done at the Word end by formatting the fields the Excel data is dropped into. Thanks for your help. This does not seem to work with 2007. I'm sure it
should be simple but maybe I'm missing something.
