A chance in a million....but

Is it possible in excell to have a display of data in the form of a
speedometer

Only looking for a simple thing.....

just to display %s

A web search for 'excel speedometer' will give you lots of hits.

Jon Peltier used to have instructions on building one, but has removed it
although it might be worth reading the "why" of its removal:

Meanwhile, one of the first sites I located having instructions to build one
in a manner similar to what Jon had previously is he

It was nice of Andy to supply this description after I deleted mine. But
it is important to think about what you're trying to show, and whether
the metaphor of a jet fighter cockpit makes any sense in a business
dashboard.

Thank you both. I have to say I agree with the comments as to the
metaphors...but when the boss decides he has this great idea who am I
to disagree.
He pays the wages after all...
