Working on a word document with the links attached from Excel - Everytime I
open or save the file, getting this error in Excel 2003 and drives me crazy - The message says: Excel cannot complete this task with available resources. Choose less data or close other applications message. Does anyone the solution to this? Thanks XX23 |

Choose less data or close other applications to free up some resources would
seem to the the solution. I tried that solution by closing other applications and it is still the same.
It is a 150 page financial statements in word and more than 70 excel links are attacthed to word file. So, I had to put the excel sheets in 2 files and link to word file. It is still giving the same error message. I assume that there must be a wrong code or protecting a workbook problem in excel. If you know any other solutions to this, please let me know. I have no experience working with Word and links to Excel so not in a
position to assist. Sounds like you just don't have the resources for this size and type of project.
