Length of an Excel document
Is there a maximum length for an Excel spreadsheet before it crashes? My
colleague has one that goes into several sheets, and she was worried it would crash at some point. She uses Excel 2000. Thanks Suroor |

Only limitation in amount of sheets is your computers memory. It might also
become very slow to perform calculations if you really start loading up the data/formulas. Within a sheet, you can only have 65,536 rows and 256 columns. Check out the XL help file "Excel specification and limits" for more details. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "suroora" wrote: Is there a maximum length for an Excel spreadsheet before it crashes?
