Sorting order of foreign languages
I have a problem in sorting some data based on Japanese Kanji.
I tried to sort in Japanese Excel it seems sorting by Shift-JIS order with the known bugs condition under the following website. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823766/ja (Sorry in japanese since it is only bug in Japanese Excel) But I do the sorting under English/ Chinese version of Excel, the order is different. And I have checked the order that seems not following UTF-8, UTF-16 or even Big 5. Did anyone know the actual sorting order for such kind of foreign languages (like Korean, Japanese, Chinese etc.)? |
