x if six cells are blank

Hello,

I have about 5k lines of data. Columns A, B and C all have data. D, E, F,
G, H and I may or may not have data. In K I would like to have a formula
that would read D, E, F, G, H and I and if they are all blank I would like
for K to return a X.

Thanks in advance for the help.
Jim

x if six cells are blank

Try this

=IF(COUNTA(D1:I1)=0,"X","")

x if six cells are blank

'if all are blank (no formulas)
=IF(COUNTBLANK(D9:I9)=6,"X","")
=IF(COUNTA(D10:I10)=0,"X","")

'if you have formulas returning blank try
=IF(COUNTIF(D11:I11,"?*")+COUNT(D11:I11)=0,"X","")

Try this...

=IF(COUNTA(D2:I2),"","X")

Copy down as needed.

Give this formula a try and copy it down as needed...

=IF(COUNTA(D1:I1),"","X")
