Excel 2007 with no increase in rows and columns
My Excel 2007 has only 65,536 rows and 256 columns just as my older
versions had. I'm told that it's supposed to have increased these numbers to 1,048,576 and 1,024, respectively. It's version 12.0.6504.5001 SP2, with Microsoft Office version 12.0.6425.1000. Any ideas? |
Never mind, Excel 2007 with no increase in rows and columns
Never mind. I have it set to save documents as .xls by default.

Excel 2007 with no increase in rows and columns
Excel 2007 New workbooks have the increased rows and columns.
Presumably you are opening older version workbooks in 2007. These will have only the 256 columns and 65536 rows. After opening, save as a 2007 workbook, close and reopen and you will get the increase in rows and columns, Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Wed, 04 Nov 2009 13:37:55 -0500, Harlan Messinger wrote: My Excel 2007 has only 65,536 rows and 256 columns just as my older versions had.
